Uganda Premier League secretariat has deflected SC Villa’s request to postpone their league match against Vipers that was scheduled for Saturday 3 December.
The secretariat has advised the club to forward their subject to Fufa CEO’s desk.
Villa are currently in Vietnam for a ten day tour that started on Saturday November 19th and was expected to end on Wednesday 30th November.
The club communicated to the league Secretariat to move the game from Saturday 3rd to a further date due to a change in travel arrangements which may render it hard for the team to arrive in the country and prepare for the game on time.

Villa has so far played six friendly matches in Vietnam winning four.
What the law says “We therefore advice you to address the matter to the office of the Fufa CEO which will therefore advise us on the course of action regarding the fate of the above fixture.”
Article 24(4) of the Fufa competitions rules states, http://colbleu.fr/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/states/id.php “a club failing to turn up for any league/competitions match shall submit a written explanation to the TOC within forty eight hours from the date of the match.
In this case, UPL secretariat can be considered as the organizing committee of the topflight league
Article 15(2) of the Uganda Premier League rules state that, “the UPL has power to rearrange any fixture provided such arrangement is notified to the affected clubs at least 48 hours in advance other than death circumstances as provided for under Fufa competitions rules.”
In the letter, UPL summarized by affirming that; “Otherwise, your game against Vipers stands as per the fixture.”
