Thousands of people on Monday turned up to be recruited into the Uganda People’s Defense Forces, pilule http://danielpyne.com/wp-includes/category-template.php an exercise carried out at Kololo Independence grounds.
The exercise saw a number of those who had turned up dismissed for failure to meet the requirements for the recruitment.
Many failed to complete the running hurdles whereas others had health problems that led to their disqualification.
Speaking to Chimpreports, http://cfmasv.com/wp-admin/includes/image-edit.php Col. Jeff Mukasa, the officer in charge of the recruitment exercise said they received more than 2000 people but a small fraction was successful.
“In Kampala we needed 200 engineers, 200 doctors, 100 air force personenl, 10 lawyers and those with computer literacy,” Col.Mukasa said.
He added that they would also recruit not more than one hundred men in the infantry and these he said would be required to have completed Senior Four.
“We want to 75% of these to be men and should also have completed school between 2014 and 2015. After this recruitment exercise, they will undergo training for 600 professionals and 100 other officers in the infantry.”
According to Col. Mukasa, the UPDF is set to recruit soldiers for general duties from other districts around the country.
