Police in Kawempe have in detention a group of fifteen people for dancing naked in various city bars

Patrick Onyango the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson says five of these were last month paraded before Mwanga II court on the same charges and later granted bail but upon release, they picked up from where they left.
“From the time these people were granted bail, our investigative officers have been following them to monitor their acts and through the use of undercover cameras they managed to capture videos of these people dancing naked in various shows which they stage in bars and pubs,” Onyango said
Onyango added that they have been staging their shows at Club Bonita Kawuku , Swaga Lounge Luzira , Eden service Park Bwaise among other places.
“As soon as investigations are done, all of them will be taken to Nabweru Court where they will be charged under the Anti-pornography Act of 2014,”Onyango revealed.
Meanwhile Bbale Umar who is the coordinator for this group denied all that was said about them, adding that like any other Uganda; they are looking for a living.
“I personally am an MC and I have done so many shows but I have never participated in any form of pornography show”
All the fifteen are still held at Kawempe police station as investigations carry on.
