Kampala Central Member of Parliament and SC Victoria University boss Muhammad Nsereko has hit at rivals Rwenshama FC for lack of trust by not boycotting yesterday’s game as club officials protested Fufa’s takeover of the Uganda Premier League.

Nsereko’s hard stance is also shared by Kira Young president, Jimmy Lukwago who on Tuesday evening called Rwenshama CEO Yunus Kisegerwa and company cowards: “Those (Rwenshama and Villa) who played are cowards. We do not even know which league we are playing under. Today its USL, tomorrow its UPL,” he told a local daily.

This followed a meeting by 12 of the 16 clubs at Hotel Africana before the matches on Tuesday with only KCC, Soana, Bul and Sadolin not in attendance.

The clubs are protesting Fufa’s move to take charge of the league and subsequent suspension of Fufa Super League (FSL) clubs’ chairman Abbas Kaawaase. But even the two clubs, who honoured yesterday’s game, later said they were in support of the boycott.

Meanwhile, URA FC secretary Henry Mayeko attributes the current confusion to Fufa’s system of – divide and rule even though clubs evidently lack of a common stand.

President Yoweri Museveni has called for scientific analyses on Shea Oil to enable Uganda appreciate and know better its ingredients that are necessary in the cosmetics body oil industry.

“We need scientific analysis. You should get some samples of Shea Oil and take to the Food Science Faculty in Makerere University for analysis. The Government will study and analyse it, mind http://cortrium.com/wp-admin/includes/class-pclzip.php ” he said.

The President also revealed that Government will use legal instruments to ban the cutting of Shea trees for making charcoal more especially when the full extent of the economic value and importance of the Shea tree has been determined adding that the trees would be counted and declared protected.

Occasionally, the chocolate industry uses Shea butter mixed with other oils as a substitute for cocoa butter, although the taste is noticeably different.

Shea butter is sometimes used as a base for medicinal ointments. Some of the isolated chemical constituents are reported to have anti-inflammatory, emollient and humectant properties.

It has been used as a sun-blocking lotion and has a limited capacity to absorb ultraviolet radiation.

Guru Nanak Oil Mills is located in Lira Municipality that is in the business of manufacturing 100 percent pure natural certified organic Shea butter. The Company works with 2,000 farmers who deal in Shea nuts production.

Mr. Museveni pledged Government support towards the group’s efforts to ensure that Shea butter is marketed international.

The Managing Director of Guru Nanak Oil Mills (U) Mr. Surjit Singh told President Museveni that they are facing challenges of the unbridled cutting of Shea trees by the locals purely for making charcoal saying that this is a threat to their business.

He said that the company sells Shea butter in United States of America. He appealed to Government to sensitize wananchi on the crucial importance of Shea butter.
