The country has been ranked at position 72 up from 74 from last month.
The elevation means that Uganda returns to the top 20 in the continent just a day after the 2017 AFCON draws were drawn.

In CAF 2017 group D qualifiers, Burkina Faso is ranked at number 66 globally and only one position above Uganda in continental log.
Botswana is at 104 while Comoros was the lowest place at 186.
Algeria (21), Ivory Coast (23), Ghana (26), Tunisia(30) and Senegal (36) are the best in Africa.
Globally, Germany leads the list as Argentina, Belgium, Colombia and Brazil complete the top five.
