They say the product under the name ‘Kabalye Sweet Bread’ goes for Shs 4000 (1kg) and half a Kg goes for Shs 2000.

The Police Sacco was launched in 2007 has a membership of over 20000 serving officers and their families. By 2014 it had total assets in excess of Shs. 7 billion, making it the second biggest Sacco after UPDF’s Wazalendo Sacco.

“We are not allowed as Police to get involved in businesses, so we run such projects through the Sacco,” said Kasingye. “In fact I was the first chairman of the Exodus Sacco.”
