Uganda Has Happiest Foreign Investors in Africa – Report

Uganda is considered one of the favorite destinations for foreigners

Uganda has been rated Africa’s most favorite destination for foreign expats and people doing business away from home.

The latest rankings by InterNations, information pills the world’s largest network for people who live and work abroad put Uganda in the topmost spot on the continent and 12th globally.

Only Uganda and Kenya featured in the top 15 countries where foreigners are happiest in Africa.

According to the study, hospital the happiest expats across the globe were not necessarily earning a huge amount, buy nor were they in places that had the best infrastructure. But something about living in these countries satisfied them.

The company asked 14,300 people living overseas, representing 174 nationalities and living in 191 countries or territories, to rate 43 different aspects of life abroad on a scale of 1-7.

These were asked about their lives aboard, the best places to for their children, where housing is cheapest among other aspects.

Coming in number 12 in the world, Uganda was described in the study as a nation has transformed itself into a country of relative stability and prosperity and this is attracting expats from across the globe looking for emerging market opportunities.

Neighbouring Kenya came second in Africa and number 15 globally and was graded as becoming increasingly popular with expats, thanks to job growth in various sectors, beautiful surroundings, incredible weather, and a low cost of living.

The top five most favourite destinations for expats in the world according to the report are Costa Rica, Malta, Mexico, The Philippines and Ecuador.
