Fufa competitions department has released the draws for the 2016/17 Uganda cup round of 64.

The draws were held on Wednesday morning at the Fufa headquarters in Mengo.

Defending champions Vipers SC open their campaign away to Premio FC in Koboko.

Premio is one of the two regional teams from West Nile alongside Koboko Rising stars who will be facing KCCA FC.

2016 finalists Onduparaka FC are visitors to Football for Good from Northern region.

All the 16 Uganda premier league and 25 Fufa big league clubs join the competition at this stage that comprises 23 who went through the respective regional knockouts. Dates for the fixtures will be announced later.

The finals of this year’s tourney will be staged at the Green light stadium in Arua in June.

The champions of the 2017 Uganda cup will earn a ticket to represent the country in the 2018 Caf confederations cup.
