Despite KCCA FC sensational duo of Derrick Nsibambi and Geoffrey Serunkuuma join the team, there was literally less or no improvement in the search for goals.

Micho three changes from the team that started against Ethiopia with Benjamin Ochan starting in goal ahead of Dennis Onyango and Ismail Watenga.

Isaac Muleme and Derrick Nsibambi also started in place of Robert Kakeeto and Chrizestom Ntambi who was dropped.
