UCC to Host World Economic Forum

Frank Tumwebaze (C) will be the guest of honour

The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) in conjunction with the Ministry of Information Communication Technology and National guidance are set to host the Internet for all World Economic Forum.

The one-day forum which is expected to attract at least 60 participants from Government Ministries, buy Departments and Agencies (MDAs), viagra http://davepallone.com/old/wp-includes/load.php industry players and the private sector will be held on Tuesday March 28th at UCC Conference Hall in Bugolobi.

Among the issues to be discussed include innovative initiatives to expand infrastructure in the country, with the objective to develop concrete opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Frank Tumwebaze is expected to be the guest of hour while Dr. Vanu Bose, the CEO of Vanu Inc will be a panelist.

Vanu, Inc. is a provider of innovative wireless infrastructure solutions founded in 1998 and pioneer of the commercialization of software-defined radio. It was the first company to receive FCC certification of a software-defined radio in 2004.

FCC certification is a mark employed on electronic products which certifies that the electromagnetic interference from the device is under limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
