UBL Provides Safe Water To Entebbe Hospital


Makindye grade 1 magistrate George Watyekere has committed three people accused of murdering city business man Eriya Bugembe Sebunya aka Kasiwukira to high court to start hearing of their case.

The three committed are Sarah Nabikolo a widow to the late, abortion Ashiraf Jaden a police officer and Sandrah Nakungu a sister to the widow.

According to the indictment papers presented to court, page prosecution at the time of trial will adduce evidence that Nabikolo killed her husband because he had brought witchcraft locally known as mayembe in their home which was then demanding the a blood sacrifice of the wife and children.

Prosecution also intends to adduce evidence that with the help of Sarah Nakkungu her sister, prostate a plan was hatched to kill the husband and was to be executed by Ashraf Jaden a Muyenga based police officer.

Sarah while planning the kill Kasiwukira.

Statements of the accused and post-mortem reports will be availed in court proving that the accused had a hand in the murder of the late businessman on 17/10/20147th.

Uganda Breweries Limited has commissioned a new Water of Life project at Entebbe Grade B hospital. This project is intended to provide safe and clean water to the community.

A 100, generic 000 litre tank has been donated to the hospital in addition to 3 other water tanks that Uganda Breweries Ltd earlier gave to the hospital.

Dr. Moses Muwanga the Medical Superintendent Entebbe Hospital applauded UBL for the donation. He said that the facility accommodates over 400 patients who all need water.

He added that the donation was timely since construction of a new building is ongoing and requires a lot of water.

The Board Chairman of the hospital Dr. Alan Shonubi said that despite of the hospital’s location near Lake Victoria, viagra 40mg it still suffers inadequacy of water.

He said the hospital serves a big area including islands as well as Entebbe airport.

Entebbe Municipality Mayor Vincent Kayanja appreciated the work going on at the hospital and said he is mindful of the challenges.

“Water is a shared resource and needs to be managed in partnerships like these” he added.

UBL pledged to engage National Water and Sewerage Corporation to ensure that the water is safe.
