Two Teachers Killed In Nakaseke Accident

Police’s rescue team together with Nakaseke town residents this morning tried in vain to save the lives of two secondary school teachers who were rammed by a speeding vehicle, order killing them instantly.

The deceased were identified as Shadrach Mayengo and his wife Ruth Mayengo, both teachers at Nakaseke Secondary School.

Eyewitnesses says that as the two were crossing the road, a car white in color hooted and tried to brake, before hitting the two and taking off, leaving them gasping for life. They were both pronounced dead moments later.

The deceased’s bodies have been taken to Kasana health center as investigations into the accident proceed.

Meanwhile police has today started investigating circumstances under which David Mutyaba alias Maloba was found dead Wednesday morning.  Mutyaba was found lying lifeless in his house at Banga Nakiwogo in Entebbe municipality.

According to Patrick Onyango the police spokesperson Kampala metropolitan, the deceased was last seen at Banga trading center in a bar yesterday at around midnight.

His neighbors after getting suspicious rushed to his house and found it locked from inside, with no response. They called in police which broke in to find Mutyaba’s body.

His body has been taken to Mulago national referral hospital for postmortem.
