The Minister for Information and ICT Frank Tumwebaze has visited schools in Kibale East County, more about http://clovellysurfclub.com.au/wp-content/plugins/theme-my-login/templates/user-panel.php Kamwenge district which were demolished by torrential rains.
A deadly storm last week destroyed several school buildings and a section of tarmac road in Kamwenge district.
Some schools which were affected include Rwamwanja Secondary School, ambulance http://danielcalvo.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_pro_upgrade/package.module.nextgen_pro_upgrade.php Nkoma and Kamusenene Primary Schools.
On receiving the reports, http://debbiehowes.com/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php Minister Tumwebaze who is also the MP Kibaale East County on Wednesday toured the affected areas.
At Rwamwanja Secondary School, Tumwebaze promised to work with authorities to ensure reconstruction of the boys’ dormitory which was destroyed by the rain.
Tumwebaze said the two roomed dormitory valued at Shs 5Omillion would be constructed before students report for third term on September 26.
At Kamusenene Primary School, Minister Tumwebaze said he would lobby support from the Ministry of Relief and Disaster in addition to his personal contribution to buy new iron sheets.
Sarah Katugyeza, the Kamwenge district secretary of Community Based Services (CBS) and Ntwatwa Oscar, the Head teacher Rwamwanja secondary hailed Tumwebaze for his timely intervention.
