Information and ICT Minister Frank Tumwebaze has blasted Dr Kizza Besigye, story http://corpuschristimiami.com/wp-includes/rss.php saying the opposition strongman is losing popularity hence resorting to violence to attract attention.
Tumwebaze, http://coparmex.org.mx/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-form-handler.php who on Tuesday spoke to ChimpReports from Turkey where he is attending a high level function, cost http://demo.des.net.id/wp-includes/option.php expressed shock at Besigye’s consistent efforts to destabilize the country.
“Besigye should know that his repetitive chorus of singing anti-NRM doom prophesies and his weird dream of thinking that he can be president through staging chaotic scenes aimed at catapulting his visibility, have all failed miserably for over a decade now,” said Tumwebaze.
“Ugandans aren’t that gullible not to discern his games of accounting to his funders,” he added.
Besigye returned from Europe on Monday morning before being arrested as soon as he disembarked Kenya Airways.
He was led into a police vehicle before being driven to his residence in Kasangati, Wakiso District.
The FDC ironman would later address a press conference, accusing government of mistreating him.
“What happened is a clear demonstration that there is the president of the people of Uganda. The regime’s role now is to ensure that they prevent the president to get to his people,” said Beisgye.
“The lesson we take is that if people choose to withdraw their support, their cooperation from the regime, the regime falls. It cannot survive. That is exactly what we shall continue doing- to mobilize our people to withdraw their cooperation from these imposters.”
But Tumwebaze said police remain committed to ensuring a secure country in the wake of Besigye’s threats to engineer a revolution.
“I thank and congratulate the police for saving the public whose business outfits were destined to suffer serious losses because of Besigye’s personal and selfish chaotic schemes all meant to account to his financiers,” said Tumwebaze.
