Minister of Tourism Hon Ephraim Kamuntu has praised Uganda’s performance at the International Tourism-Borse Berlin 2017 expo where the country emerged in 5th position in Africa.

Speaking about the event that run from 7th to 11th March in Berlin Germany, http://daiviet.us/wp-includes/feed-rss.php the minister hailed Uganda’s representatives who included exhibitors from Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Wildlife Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority and other 30 private sector tourism businesses.
The ITB Berlin is the world’s largest tourism expo, with 10,000 exhibitors from 185 countries and 109,000 trade visitors.
“If we emerged fifth, that simply means we did a lot and it’s only the starting point,” Kamuntu told the press at Uganda Media Center today.
Kamuntu added that the event also provided an opportunity for Uganda’s representatives to interact with many important industry players, and discuss Uganda’s tourism potential.
According to the Marketing Manager UTB, Edwin Muzahura, the board continues to unlock Uganda’s tourism potential and is hopeful about its dream of getting 4million tourists by 2020.
