Tottenham, Kenya Agree to Rest Wanyama Ahead of DRC Friendly

Wanyama was named man of the match against Manchester City. He won't play for Kenya on Tuesday.

English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs and the Kenya national team technical bench have agreed to exempt Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama from the squad to play DR Congo on Tuesday 4th October.

Wanyama was voted the man of match on Sunday during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Manchester City FC and the two parties felt it necessary to give him a rest.
