Tooro Premier Blasts Bishop Kisembo over Oyo Saga

The State House Health Monitoring team recently stormed Rwampara County in Mbarara district and warned of serious action against nonperforming local health facilities.

She named three doctors Mpora Dankan a Clinic Officer, health Ahabwe Shillah an enrolled nurse under MJAP, purchase Niwamanya Sympson a Cicatrix nurse, who allegedly stole hospital medicine and key equipment.

“These will be found and jailed, even if they fly out of the country; we’ll send INTERPOL to get them,” she fumed.

At the meeting, 80 year old Rubaramira Emanzi attributed the poor situation at Mwizi Health Center to the fact that it is remotely located and unattractive to faraway doctors which explains the high absenteeism.

However, the Mbarara District Health Officer Dr.Amooti Kaguna who also attended the meeting pointed to a shortage in the number of nurses in the area.

Appealing for more enrollments, Dr Kaguna noted that the district currently has only 260 nurses instead of 560.

Several government officers attended the meeting including the district woman MP Emma Boona, LC5 Chairman Deus Tumusiime,  RDC Nickson Kabuye and former Rwampara MP Ngabirano Charles.

Tooro Kingdom Prime Minister Hon. Stephen Kaliba has blasted the Bishop of Rwenzori diocese Rt. Rev. Reuben Kisembo Amooti over the kingdom wrangles.

It all started with Kisembo advising Tooro Kingdom officials and King Oyo to meet Prince David Kijanangoma, web http://dayacounselling.on.ca/wp-admin/includes/class-bulk-theme-upgrader-skin.php who wants the throne, http://colbleu.fr/wp-content/plugins/exploit-scanner/hashes-4.1.1.php to discuss and address issues dividing Tooro.

The Bishop was speaking at the 23rd birth day Anniversary of Tooro king Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV held at Harukoto Palace in Fort Portal on Saturday.

Bishop Kisembo said, http://dan-caragea.ro/wp-content/plugins/pt-content-views-pro/includes/defines.php “There is urgent need for King Oyo, clan leaders and Kingdom officials to sit at a round table with Prince Kijanangoma and discuss issues of land evection and king Oyo’s overstay in Buganda for peace and harmony to prevail”.

The Bishop said, “I ask you King Oyo to prioritize God, intensify praying and also respect all the ten commandments of God. This would enable you get blessings, the power and knowledge to lead the Kingdom”.

The man of God urged subjects to love their king and respect people in authority.

But in his response, Hon. Kaliba said King Oyo and his camp shall “never waste time” to sit with Prince David Kijanangoma and his loyalists to debate Tooro issues.

“Issues of Oyo overstaying in Kampala, wearing tinted sun glasses while addressing his subjects in English and the alleged mass land evictions are not issues King Oyo will debate with prince Kijanangoma,” charged the radical premier.

“Prince Kijanangoma is just fighting King Oyo and he will never be the king of Tooro since the constitution of Uganda does not recognize him”.

Tooro kingdom has been split into two factions with one backing prince Kijanangoma’s ambitions to take over the throne and another choosing to stick with King Oyo.

A big section of Batooro including elders is said to be loyal to Kijanangoma and paying him allegiance at his palace Rwengoma in West division Fort portal municipality.

In Mid-February this year prince Kijanangoma announced he would oust his cousin King Oyo whom he accused of overstaying in Buganda, failing to set up development projects for his people and allowing the Queen mother to interfere in the palace affairs and evicting people from the Kingdom land before selling it off.

Unlike the past celebrations that have attracted many leaders including the district chairpersons, Members of Parliament, Ministers, LC3 Chairpersons, this birthday anniversary was boycotted by majority of leaders, leaving attendance to students and ministers.
