Former BUL FC striker Tito Okello has expressed his delight in playing for Tanzanian top flight side African Lyon FC.
Tito together with teammates Hood Mayanja and defender William Otong have been a solid part of the team since last season when they earned promotion to the topflight.
“The Tanzanian league is not that hard for me, look http://decoreatelier.com/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor.php ” Okello told Chimpsport in an interview.
“Actually I find it interesting and can say am doing well in the league together with my compatriots Hood Mayanja and William Otong.”
Several Ugandan players have complained of harsh treatment especially in their maiden season in the Swahili nation but Okello says he has had none of that yet.
“We are coping very well because our colleagues and management are very hospitable. We’re in good terms.”
The striker has so far scored three goals including in the team’s second league victory against Mbeya City on Sunday.
“It’s not a bad beginning being that it’s my first time to play in the top league in Tanzania. It’s full of professional players but I have hopes of appearing in the top scorers list by working hard.”
“I am working to put myself in the best shape possible not only for the team but also to catch the eyes of the national team bench.”
