Police yesterday arrested three people for alleged trafficking of a Primary Seven girl and a senior two student of Hope Integrated School Kyetume.

The suspects have been identified as Jamada Yiga, symptoms http://cssassociation.org/system/modules/faq/modulefaq.php Topista Nabanjja and Robert Kato.

These were arrested at Buzinga village in Lwengo district after parents notified police about their missing children.

Apparently the trio have been trafficking children to Kampala, approved http://chachanova.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/capabilities.php where they promise to find them jobs, pills but once they get there, the girls are channeled into prostitution, some are used as maids and the boys taken to man gates, others taken to bars as waiters yet at their age they are not supposed to be in bars.

Robert Kato who has been brokering this, has been moving around schools and instilling the young children with views that there’s a lot of money in Kampala, and that they should not waste time studying. Those who buy the idea are stolen and given to Nabanjja who gets them on bus and then taken to Jamada.

According to Polly Namaye, the deputy police spokesperson, child trafficking in Lwengo and neighbouring districts has been going on and that the 3 are part of a larger group which connects with the ones in Kampala and carry out the crime.

‘We hope these  will lead us to their associates, because we are aware that some are taken as far as Dubai and when they reach, their documents like  the passports are taken away from them so here they are compelled into prostitution,’ added Namaye

Namaye said the trio would be charged with child trafficking and kidnap if they are found guilty.
