Terror Trial Resumes Tomorrow With FBI Witnesses

The trial of 13 people suspected to have masterminded the July 2010 twin bombings at Lugogo and Kabalagala resumes tomorrow Tuesday at the High Court in Kampala after stalling for a month.

”We have exhausted all our local witnesses and we ask for more time to summon foreign ones. We ought to have summoned them but we experienced logistical and diplomatic challenges and we request for at least 30 days to be able to avail them,” Anguzo told the trial judge.

According to the prosecutors, over 100 witnesses, both local and from outside Uganda are expected to testify in the case.
