Sundown’s Mosimane Unfazed by Fatigue, Injury Crisis ahead of KCCA FC Tie

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane is confident his team can get a good result ahead of the return leg against KCCA FC due this weekend.

KCCA FC host defending champions Sundowns in the return leg of the first round of the 2017 Total CAF champion’s league and Mosimane remains unfazed amidst several key players missing due to injuries.

“Every coach would want to have his best players and the best squad ahead of such a crucial game, page ” he stated.

“But that should not be an excuse to me because I believe we have a good team that can help us earn the result we want, no rx ” Mosimane noted upon arrival at Entebbe international airport on Wednesday.

Zimbabwean play marker Khama Billiat is ruled out and didn’t travel with the team while Sibusiso Vilakazi has also not travelled after limping off in the goalless draw against Polokwane.

Asked about whether there could be a concern of fatigue the fact they Sundowns played a game on yesterday (0-0 vs Polokwane City), sildenafil the 2016 CAF Africa’s best club coach indicated that they are used to tight schedules.

“It will not be a concern really, we have upto Saturday to refresh and we are used to this kind of fixture,”

“We have a very demanding league, 3 knock out tournaments back home and we have been playing on the continent so it is not a worry to me,” he told chimpsport.

Mosimane also played down the concerns about the game being played on artificial turf indicating they played on such grounds before.

“We played against AS Vita on artificial turf so we are ready. Of course such grounds are not good for players but we remain unfazed about that,” he added.

KCCA FC take on Mamelodi Sundowns this Saturday at Phillip Omondi stadium in the return leg.

Sundowns won the first leg 2-1 at the Lucas Moripe stadium last week and winner on aggregate will advance to the group stages.
