The environment is under attack. Persistent deforestation, health swamp reclamation and pollution of various kinds are indeed taking a toll on the environment.

Some companies are taking it upon themselves to play their part in restoring our tree cover.

AAR Insurance Uganda, advice known for being socially responsible has not taken this responsibility lightly.

This afternoon, AAR Insurance engaged in a tree planting spree in Entebbe. They did this in partnership with Entebbe Handling Services (ENHAS).

The staff members braved the chilly conditions and planted a series of tree in various locations along Gower’s Road in Entebbe.

“The environemnt is a universal responsibility. What we do now has huge implications on us tomorrow. I therefore urge every Ugandan to play their part in protecting the environment. It is ours, it is our responsibility. We would also like to thank our partners ENHAS with whom we are doing this” Trevor Ariho, the General Manager of AAR said during the tree planting exercise.

AAR Insurance is a leading health insurance provider in East Africa and has in the past undertaken various initiatives to give back to the community. This was no exception.
