Special Forces Soldier Killed By Lightening at State House

“It’s true. We lost one of our soldiers early in the morning, pharmacy following a lightning strike,” he said.

The deceased, Magezi said had been deployed together with three others as guard posts along the State House security fence when the tragedy hit.

“One was killed and two others were injured and are being treated in Hospital,” he said.

The identities of the deceased and the injured cannot be revealed on the advice of the Special Forces spokesperson, who said their families need to be contacted first.
