The SPLA 5th Division commander, pharmacy http://dan-caragea.ro/wp-includes/class-wp-http-streams.php Brig. Gen. Gatwich Pouch Mar who, this site yesterday defected to rebel movement SPLA-IO under Dr. Riek Machar, click has said God is not going to forgive his former Commander-in-Chief, President Salva Kiir whom he accused of failing the nation.

This website on Friday exclusively broke the news of Brig. Gatwich’s defection six hours before he declared the well-kept move in the neighboring Kenyan capital of Nairobi.

In his exhaustive seven-page press statement in Nairobi, Gatwich who is also the brother of Upper Nile State governor, Kun Pouch Mar, castigated Juba regime establishment and the national army SPLA for allowing and practicing segregation instead of leadership merits.

“The Almighty God that I know and respect is not going to forgive President Kiir at all. The atrocities he and his men have committed in the country are so big,” Gen. Gatwich said.

He also accused the SPLA top leadership of denying him promotion for a long time while his juniors have surpassed him and he is now saluting them instead.

“I served the SPLA and my country with one heart but my efforts were being received by my commanders with a different heart. I don’t know why they were doing so but that was very unfair to me.” Gatwich added.

The defected general who only weeks ago was actively participating with then fellow SPLA colleagues in defeating the SPLA-IO, again praised the rebel movement saying it is struggling for the good of South Sudan.

“The SPLA-IO is the right front in this fight for the good of our country and I am proud to join the struggle.” Gatwich added.

Gatwich’s defection is not a new phenomenon given the fact that all rebel commanders defected from the national army after the 15th December incident that split the SPLA into two.

At the end of February, SPLA-IO former spokesman, Brig. Lul Ruai Koang also broke away from the rebel side forming his own group known as South Sudan Resistance Army which is allied to the government and the move was seen by observers as an indirect defection.
