South Sudan Minister Resigns, Flees to Khartoum

The South Sudan Minister for Agriculture Dr. Lam Akol has resigned and fled Juba to the neighboring Sudanese capital Khartoum.

According to reports, treatment http://darylhewsoncollection.com/tmp/templates_c/17%5e%25%2570%5e707%5e707a8977%25%25content%253acontent_en.php Dr. Akol who is also the leader of SPLA-DC said upon arrival in Khartoum, ambulance that his country has become unfavorable for opposition actors and the best thing is to operate from abroad.

Dr. Akol is among two political figures from other parties that were jointly given two seats in Transitional Government of National Unity put in place in May this year.

The SPLA in Government under President Salva Kiir and SPLA in Opposition under Dr Riek Machar were given 18 and 10 ministerial positions respectively. ChimpReports is following the development.
