Vipers Sports Club take on Soana FC on Sunday in an all topflight affair in the last match of the Uganda cup round of 32. Vipers SC are the defending champions of the 42 year old competition. They beat Onduparaka in the finals last year.
The two clubs have met eight times in the existence; seven in the league and once in a Uganda cup quarter final where Vipers cruised 3-1 and went on to lose to SC Victoria in the 2013 finals.
Soana have not won a single game losing six and picking only a single point in the eight games played.
Vipers enter the game at the back of a backbreaking 2-1 win over BUL FC in Jinja on Friday- a match that ended in chaotic scenes.
Soana walloped Lira United 7-0 to stroll to this round last month at Kavumba but their form in the league against topflight clubs is very worrying going into the game. The club has only managed two points out of a possible 15.
