Police are detaining six suspected armed robbers at the Central Police Station (CPS) in Kampala in connection with the theft of a truck Lorry Reg. Number UAX 009F.
Police Spokesperson, medicine http://conversionxl.com/wp-includes/meta.php Fred Enanga told the media at CPS that the suspects were arrested during an operation conducted by the Police’s Flying Squad having trailed them for days.

Those in custody are; Agaba Osbert, Eddy Twahurwa, Andrew Wanyama, Ruutu Kiseka, Charles Mwebaze and Mwesigye Mohamad who were arrested in the areas of Lubiri in Kampala.
Police recovered a star pistol number 29023419 with 6 rounds which the group used during their operations.
Enanga said, “We are building on the information that we already have to identify other members of the gang because we believe they are not working in isolation.”
On the other hand, Enanga noted that the Flying Squad also foiled attempts by some suspected arsonists who wanted to burn houses in Kisenyi following a conflict over land ownership.
He revealed that the land owner James Dagirira made attempts to evict occupants on the contested land but had not succeeded
“The intelligence that we have is that Dagirira hired Michael Ssekizivu to use Petrol bombs to burn down close to ten houses on his plot of land.”
“We have recovered 10 Jerry cans of Petrol; we arrested the two for conspiracy to commit a crime and are under our custody.”
