Singida Pulls Out of Eastern G4 in the Last Hour

Tanzanian first division club Singida FC will not take part in the inaugural edition of the Eastern G4 cup as earlier planned, this web http://cmareno.com/wp-includes/class-pop3.php ChimpSport has learnt.

The information was revealed by the organizers Tangosport management to this website.

“Unfortunately Singida FC have communicated to us that they will not be travelling to Uganda for the two day tournament, ask http://catrinmacdonnell.co.uk/wp-admin/includes/schema.php ” Tangosport MD Mr. Joseph Mutaka said.

He adds that “It’s not good news as it alters a lot of our plans but we move on. They informed us that they received the confirmation letter late and could not organize their team and reach here on time for the kickoffs.”

Therefore, due to time schedule the four original members of the G4 who are the four premier league teams from Jinja town will take part and continue with the tourney. They include BUL FC, Sadolin Paints, JMC Hippos and Kirinya Jinja SS FC.

A total of six matches will be played with all the teams facing each other in a round robin league format. The team with highest number of points by the end of the games will be crowned champions to walk home with a million shillings and medals.

Hosts, Sadolin Paints FC will open the tournament against JMC Hippos at 9:00 AM before Coach Alex Isabirye settles his scores with former employers BUL FC.

Jinja SS FC and JMC will close day one.

Day two has the kakindu derby between Bul FC and JMC followed by Bugembe derby pitting the other two clubs and the last match will see old boys BUL and Sadolin in the same pitch.
