Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze Bakireke left this morning for South Africa, this http://conceive.ca/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/menu/language-selector.php for specialized diagnosis of an ailment that has kept her down for three weeks.
Nambooze on June 13th collapsed in her house in Mokono town and was rushed to hospital with severe pain in the stomach.
She was admitted at the Kampala Imaging Clinic for days but the medics were unable to pin down the exact cause of her sickness.
She was last week advised to proceed to South Africa to be scanned further and establish her ailment. In Kampala she said, and no hospital has the kind of equipment needed for this operation.
The MP recently told reporters that she suspected food poisoning since the day she collapsed she had returned from a party where she had so much to eat.
In South Africa, according to Nambooze, doctors will insert cameras in her stomach to establish exactly what caused her current condition.
