Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has confirmed on Monday morning that the KCCA FC striker Geoffrey Serunkuma will be skipper of the team ahead of the 2018 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.
The lethal forward was in scintillating form last season both for club and country scoring over 30 goals.
He was unanimously voted the KCCA FC player for the 2016/17 season as the team went ahead to win the unprecedented domestic double.
Serunkuma will be deputized by Vipers captain Nico Wadada and SC Villa’s Bernard Muwanga.
The Cranes lost 1-0 to Western region in the regional tour on Saturday and this has prompted Micho to drop some players and replaced them with KCCA FC players.
