Sejusa’ Aide Skips Court; Criminal Summons Issued

Moses Bigirwa, cheap http://cdkstone.com.au/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-links-list-table.php a member the Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) and aide of former Gen David Sejusa’s, who is facing charges of inciting violence and assaulting a police officer today was a no show at the Buganda Road court where he was expected for commencement of the trial of this matter.

As such, the state prosecutor Peter Mugisha asked court to issue criminal summons to Bigirwa and Allan Kitonsa, who were absent.

Bigirwa’s co accused in this case include other UYD members Kitonsa Allan, Juma Kayondo,Haruna Nsibuka and Hakeem Kiiza.

The defense counsel Abdullah Kiwanuka however, informed court that the two accused persons were unable to attend court because they are currently detained at Kabalagala police station since yesterday.

Buganda Road Grade One Magistrate Joan Aciro nonetheless issued criminal summons to the duo and adjourned the matter to 25th November for hearing.
