Defender Ibrahim Kiyemba joins a list of several Ugandan players that have sought for greener pastures in this transfer period.
Confirmed reports indicate the Sports Club Villa defender has completed a move to Stellenbosch FC in South Africa.
Club President, Eng. Ben Immanuel Misagga confirmed to ChimpReports that Kiyemba has joined the South African club.
“Kiyemba will join Stellenbosch FC for two years with onward sale rights to Villa,” Misagga confirmed.
The former Lweza Football Club skipper joins a list of players that have gone to South Africa for trials in this preseason.
Onduparaka’s duo had trials at Supersport United but failed to impress and returned home while defender Jjuko Murushid is currently undergoing trials at Orlando Pirates.
Kiyemba joined SC Villa last season helping the Jogoos finish second in the Uganda Premier League.
