SC Villa (Uganda) vs Halleluyah fc (South Korea)
The Record 16 time league champions SC Villa will officially kickstart their preseason friendlies with an encounter in Masaka Recreation grounds with Halleluyah FC from South Korea.
The club registered a 3-0 win over Ndiga FC in a minor friendly with Alex Kitata scoring a brace and Lwesibawa notched the third before they left for Masaka.
Wasswa Bbosa, the SC Villa Manager told ChimpReports that the team arrived safely in Masaka and they are ready for the match.
“We only trained for 4 days and I can’t say that the players are 100% fit but they can play the game well and we get a result.”
“All the players are available except Simon Sserunkuma, John Adriko and Bernard Muwanga who are still on National duty with the Uganda Cranes,” added Bbosa.
Bbosa went further to say that the club has more of these friendly matches along the way before the team faces off with KCCA FC on September 9 in the Uganda Super Cup.
“The friendly was initially not in the program for this preseason because I had planned the season practice to start on 24th this month but because of this game, we decided to start a bit earlier,” he said.
