Rwanda Police: AU Summit Ended Incident Free

Rwanda National Police (RNP) has applauded all partners for the role played to ensure maximum security in the country and at the African Union Summit in particular, sick http://clubcycloautun.fr/wp-includes/taxonomy.php which ended incident free.

In a statement released Wednesday July 20th, medications Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Celestin Twahirwa noted that “the security coverage for the AU Summit required concerted efforts of all partners, symptoms stakeholders and security agencies as well as compliance of the general public with the rules, laws and regulations supported by effective information sharing to ensure a smooth and peaceful event.”

He said that during the summit which ran from July 10th to July 18th, Kigali residents, partners in security and local administration were involved and contributed immensely to ensuring that security and safety prevail.

“Road users and particularly motorists complied with the changes and road diversions or restrictions, gave positive feedback and constantly interacted with police which resulted into effective road usage,” the statement further read.

ACP Twahirwa said that this continues to be the norm among communities and that it gives RNP confidence that even other similar future major international events will be successfully policed.
