Kampala businessman Mr Odrek Rwabwogo has been dropped by the Central Executive Committee (CEC) in the race for NRM Vice Chairperson, discount http://cutteraviation.com/wp-content/plugins/exploit-scanner/hashes-4.5.php Western Uganda.

This, case http://ca-uqam.info/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-update-post-v1-1-endpoint.php according to highly placed sources, drugs http://davepallone.com/old/wp-content/plugins/lightweight-social-icons/lightweight-social-icons.php was aimed at avoiding dismembering the top leadership of the ruling party.

This was during the meeting held at State House Entebbe on Friday night.

Earlier, Gen Kahinda Otafiire stepped down from the heated race.

This eventually gave NRA historical Maj Gen Matayo Kyaligonza an upper hand, taking the post unopposed.

Observers say the elimination of Rwabwogo is a big blow to his political career.

He last contested for a political office in the late 1990s.

Rwabwogo has since maintained that NRM needs young blood to reinvigorate the party structures which have been gradually decaying.

As if this is not interesting enough, businessman Hakim Lukenge was equally rejected by CEC for the post of National Vice Chairperson which is being held by the historical Moses Kigongo.

This means Kigongo sailed through unopposed.

The Vice Chairperson for Eastern Uganda, Speaker Rebecca Kadaga also emerged unopposed.

This would appear that positions of historicals have been ring-fenced.

The move could spark furious reactions from the young Turks in the party who have since pushed to take over from the old guard in vain.

Rwabwogo recently told ChimpReports that the NRM ideology is on the verge of extinction, saying the young people must be brought forward to bring “substantial thinking on the table.”

He added: “Structures at districts, we ignored them. We have concentrated up there. We are not at sub-country and districts to teach ideology and decentralise authority and responsibility to where it is supposed to be. How will we get leaders?”

We were unable to get comments from the affected party officials on Saturday afternoon as they were reported in a meeting.

However, we understand that names of selected individuals will be presented before NEC today Saturday for endorsement.
