Michael Ogwal the former Rukungiri Police head of Criminal Investigations (CIID) and Frank Turamye an investigative officer at Rukungiri central police have finally been granted bail by the High Court in Kabale.
Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumil granted Shs. 500, stomach http://decksplushouston.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/settings.php 000 cash bail to the duo while their sureties were each bonded 5 million shillings none-cash and their passports held.
Ogwal and Turamye have been on remand at Ndorwa government prison since 16th august 2016 after Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi canceled the court bail that was on 13th July 2016 granted to the duo by the Rukungiri grade one magistrate Josephine Nakaato on grounds that it was irregular.
The cancellation followed a petition filed by the DPP Mike Chibita complaining that the Rukungiri magistrate Nakaato had no jurisdiction to allow a plea on a charge sheet of a murder case.
Ogwal and Turamye were charged with two count of accessory after the fact to murder and are on the same charge sheet with 14 other local people that were accused of murder.
The prosecution says that on 18th May 2016, search http://denafilmax.com/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php Julius Ndyamuhakyi and other 13 people while at Kagogo coffee factory in Rukungiri municipality with malice aforethought murdered one Joel Sigirenda whom
they suspected to be a thief.
However, the CIID boss Michael Ogwal and Frank Turamye an officer investigating the case released two people well knowing that they were implicated in the murder case.
