The Uganda Rugby Cranes line-up for the Rugby Africa Gold Cup game against Tunisia this Saturday is out.
Jonh Duncan, the cranes coach, has made some major changes in this line up “due to some circumstances.”
Some of the changes were due to the bad injury that Marvin Odong, one of the best players got at the concluded game in Senegal.
He is going to be on bed-rest for 12 weeks so his position is going to be taken up by Ronald Musaaja this Saturday.
Unlike most games where he plays Number 15, Phillip Wokorach is going to be playing at fly half to replace Ivan Magomu.
Aaron Ofoywroth will replace Ivan kirabo.
The changes in the lineup are for the better and portray a possibility of an assured win against Tunisia.
Some of the fans that witnessed players practicing yesterday evening said that the team is in good shape.
The cranes players are set to go to camp after tomorrow’s training session so as to get enough rest.
Tunisians have just been beaten 100-10 by Kenyans three days ago in a match that took place at KRFU grounds Ngong road in Kenya making them less of a threat.
Currently Uganda is third on the table, Namibia and Kenya being the first and second respectively.
This is a point-based tournament and so the team will be aiming at earning enough points to go for the world cup qualifiers.
The winner of this tournament will take the African trophy but most importantly the top 5 teams out of the 6 have a chance to the 2019 World Cup qualifiers next year.
