Rivers United head coach Stanley Eguma is confident his team will walk way from Uganda with a positive result.
The Nigerian side take on KCCA FC this Saturday at Phillip Omondi stadium and has indicated his team is in the perfect condition ahead of the game.
Eguma however confessed he knows little about KCCA FC but remains unfazed about the scanty information about their opponents.
“All we know is that they are a good team and champions in Uganda. But that doesn’t scare us, discount because we have faced similar or even better sides,” the coach stressed.
Rivers United are playing on the continent for their first time after finishing second in the Nigerian Premier League last season.
The Nigerian side lost 3-1 to Club Africain in their first group game before recovering with victory against FUS Rabat at home.
KCCA FC on the other hand lost 3-1 to FUS Rabat in their opening game but went ahead to win 2-1 against Club Africain at Phillip Omondi stadium.
