Sadolin Paints Football Club have officially parted ways with over ten first team players following a horrible season that saw the club get relegated from Azam Uganda Premier League.
The announcement was made official on Tuesday evening through the club spokesperson, Nampala Yusuf confirming 10 players have been given the greenlight to leave the club.
Among the departing players is veteran defender Ronald Lukungu.
The diminutive fullback who has been the vice-captain of the club will leave after serving the club for 2 seasons.
Lukungu joined the painters at the start of the 2014/15 season from Masaka Local Council.
The other players released are Fred Kyambadde, Andrew Basoma and Farouk Matovu.
Kyambadde who was brought in at the start of last season to solve the goal scarcity failed to live the expectation and eventually the team got relegated.
Basoma one of the long serving players since crossing from rivals BUL also had an awful season and the club has decide to let go of him.
The others are goalkeeper Hatimu Herbert, Yunus Baker,Muledu Faizal,Eddy Segane,Isaac Muyanga and Dutch Ssimbwa.
SadolinPaints were relegated last season after garnering a meager 26 points and finishing second from bottom.
The 10 join Karim Nduggwa who left the club last week joining Arua based side, Onduparaka football club.
