Abdallah Mubiru has had a perfect start as head coach at Police football club winning all the five games he is been in charge(3 in the league and 2 in the Uganda cup) since joining the club in January this year.
Ahead of the game against Onduparaka football club on Tuesday, diagnosis http://dakarlives.com/wp-includes/class-wp-http-cookie.php Mubiru is confident the club can carry on the sublime form and earn yet another positive result.
“We respect Onduparaka football club because they are a good team with talented players, http://challengemetennis.com/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php ” he said. “I believe it will not be an easy game despite the fact that they lost heavily to KCCA FC over the weekend, http://cfsk.org/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/footer.php ”
“I’m confident the performance we have had in the previous games gives us confidence heading into tomorrow’s game and will be important as we seek to maintain our winning touch.” Mubiru indicated.
The cops have garnered nine points since the start of the second round which has seen them move from the drop zone and are currently 9th on the table with 23 points. They host wounded Onduparaka who come into the game on the back of a 7-0 obliterating at the hands of league leaders KCCA FC.
However, Mubiru believes the result will not blind fond them and become complacent ahead of tomorrow’s game at Nakivubo stadium.
“ I do not read so much into the result because that is gone and now their focus is to make sure they recover as quick as they can, so we shall treat tomorrow’s game like any other game that we have played,” noted the soft spoken tactician.
Midfielder Rahmat Ssenfuka who scored the winner as Police defeated Soana 2-1 last week also sounds confident ahead of Tuesday’s game and believes the recent performance has been due to the numerous changes at the club.
“First there is no doubt that Onduparaka are a great team and the massive support from their fans has carried them all the way,” he said.
“But we are a rejuvenated team and we are ready for the game. Our confidence as players has been boosted a lot since the start of the second round and this been due to the changes both in the technical and playing stuff.” stated Ssenfuka .
Police have the chance for vengeance after losing 2-1 to Onduparaka in the first round encounter at the greenlight stadium in Arua.
However,Abdallah Mubiriu will miss the services of forward Lauben Kimera who sustained a knee injury in the game against Soana. Thus skipper Ben Ochen and veteran striker Anthony Bongole are expected to lead the attacking line.
