The DPC Mbarara has cautioned the public to put up preventive measures to secure their homes and communities during the Christmas season.
DPC Jaffar Magyezi at a press conference yesterday urged the people travelling to their villages for Christmas especially at night to move with proper identification, illness view http://cleanenergybiofuels.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-plugin-install-list-table.php most preferably the National Identity Card.
This he said would help sift out bad elements that might want to take advantage of the busy Christmas season to cause harm, view and commit crimes.
Magyezi added that Police would be strictly checking for drivers under the alcohol influence to prevent road accidents.
People preparing to host events during the festivities were urged to make security their number one priority.
Crime preventers too were called to double their efforts of patrolling their communities and working with local leaders and police through the Christmas season.
Magyezi also cautioned political candidates not to take advantage of Christmas to hold rallies in churches and other public places.
