Police in Kampala have launched search for a radio journalist who has been missing for two days.

Patrick Senoga, a presenter at Mama FM, a city women-founded radio station disappeared from work on Wednesday afternoon.

According to fellow workers at the Kisaasi based radio station, after his show, Senoga left work in the evening but never reached home.

Liela Mutebi, a fellow presenter at the station told us, “After his show which airs every Wednesday, he left the station at around 3pm but didn’t reach home and we haven’t heard from him since.”

Ms Mutebi says later that night at around 10:00PM, they received phone calls from Mutebi’s folks at home who thought he was still at work.

Police were alerted the following morning and according Mutebi, the search is ongoing for the missing journalist.

She adds that yesterday, they went around the main hospitals in the city but could not locate him.

She said hours after he went missing, Senoga’s phones were on, but they were advised by police not to call them again, to help in the search.

Anyone, with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Senoga has been urged to call Mama FM on 0701907554 or inform the nearest police station.
