Police Hunting Driver for Knocking Infant Dead

Buganda Road grade one magistrate Joan Aciro has pushed to February 4, healing http://ceris.ca/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-media-list-table.php the hearing of the case against seven members of the National Association of Unemployed Youth.

The adjournment came after the state prosecutor Edward Muhumuza informed court that investigations in this matter were still ongoing and thus sought an adjournment to enable them finalize the inquiries.

Semakadde added that the state’s delay in finalizing investigation was an act of Human rights abuse.
The prosecution alleges that these seven namely Doreen Nyanjura,Buwembo Habib,Nakyeyune Joweria,Awungi Bethwell,Ainomugisha Dickson,Atuhaire Brain and Wabulembo Robinson and others still at large on October 27, 2014 while  in Kampala, participated in unlawful assembly leading to breach of peace.

On Wednesday October 29th 2014 these seven were charged with holding unlawfully assembly.

Police in Kabale are hunting for a yet to be identified driver for allegedly knocking dead a seven year old girl along Kabale – Kisoro road before disappearing in thin air.

It is alleged that on January 6 at around 1:30 pm while at Bwindi along Kabale Kisoro road, web http://charadas.org/wp-admin/includes/translation-install.php the yet to be identified driver who was recklessly driving a Toyota Premio Registration Number UAU676N knocked dead the Prosy Adela Ainamani.

The deceased was a daughter to Henry Byamugabe, a resident of Muko Sub County in the district, and was standing at the edge of the road waiting to cross at the time of the incident.

After the incident, the driver, abandoned the vehicle and took off.

Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate confirmed the incident and said that police have so far impounded the vehicle and are seriously hunting for the suspect.

Maate also added that whoever may be having information about the incident can volunteer it to police so that the suspect is apprehended and charged accordingly. The case is registered at Kabale Central Police Station under reference number: TAR 03/2015
