There Police delegation made a “modest contribution” towards the medical expenses to the family of the victim.

Lwanga, according to one of the relatives attending to him, says he is feeling too much pain in the stomach and headache.

The journalist was on Monday afternoon roughed up by DPC Jorum Mwesigye together with other journalists, hitting him with an electric cable on the head.

The DPC has since been detained at Central Police Station and dismissed from all police duties “until further notice.”
