Player Dies During U-20 League Game in Tanzania

Football fraternity in Tanzania is mourning in grief following the sudden death of a player during a local under 20 league match on Sunday.

The player, medicine http://cerlalc.org/wp-admin/includes/template.php by the names of Ismail Khalfan Mrisho, malady who plays for Mbao FC collapsed and died in the 58th minute after a light tackle from a Mwadui FC player

Mrisho had earlier in the 27th minute grabbed the opener with a clinical back flick before the ill fated incident in the second half. The match was staged in Kagera.

“I regret to announce the sudden death of Ismail Mrisho.He collapsed on the pitch during an U20 league match,” Tanzania football federation president Jamal Malinzi confirmed. “He was a Mbao FC player and the game was between his team and Mwadui U20.The TFF Medical team is following up this sad event very closely. May Allah  rest his soul in eternal peace.Amen”

The cause of the death has not yet been revealed though its highly suspected to be a cardiac arrest case.
