Movie lovers and the actors started arriving for the event as early as 6:00pm.
On arrival, they made their entrance into the conference center via the red carpet that was surrounded by bright lights against Kampala’s dark night and lensmen including two of our own.
From the Red Carpet, the ushers led them to an elegant cocktail where they ate, drunk, interacted with each other and had a chance to mingle with the movie stars.
“I am very excited that our country has come of age in different enterprises including film that is earning some countries billions of dollars every year,” city entrepreneur, Patrick Bitature told ChimpCorp, Bruno Agababyona during the cocktail.
“I have always been a big movie fan and I am so anxious to see what this production brings to the table,” the businessman who had come with his son, added.
At about 9:00 PM, the MC of the night, Roger Mugisha called the guests to Victoria Auditorium which had been turned into a cinema hall.
The guests who included, High Commissioner of India to Uganda, Dr. Ramesh Chandra, KCCA Boss, Jennifer Musisi, MP, Sanjay Tanna, prominent Ugandan and Indian businessmen then headed to the screening that started at about 9: 30PM.
This was the long awaited moment when the whole room was practically swept into the allure of the movie.
Love, Passion, Intrigue, torture, Determination, War and victory are some of the words that can describe the scenes in the movie.
After the screening, various speakers praised the makers and sponsors for having invested in the high budget movie including TA Technologies that injected $ 1 Million into the project.
