Caf Confederation Cup
KCCA 2-1 Club Africain
A goal in either half of the game ensured Tunisian side Club Africain suffered defeat on their second visit on Ugandan soil at the hands of KCCA FC on Tuesday.
Club Africain were held to a one all draw by SC Villa in their previous visit to Uganda in 1991.
The visitors however on Tuesday were the first to see the back of the net, viagra approved thanks to a Mokhtar Belkhither’s strike that caught the Kasasiro boys defence sleeping and also goal keeper Benjamin Ochan static in the 19th minute.
Youngster Allan Okello and Tom Matsiko had field days on Tuesday with a number of erratic passes and displays that dazzled the Tunisian players.
The home side continued pinning the visitors until the 62nd minute mark when Matsiko sent a belter towards the Tunisian goalkeeper Ben Mustapha who had nothing to do with the ball only to let it inside the net for KCCA’s second goal.
Speaking in the post-match press conference, KCCA coach Mike Mutebi praised his boys for being tactically good on the day.
“They were tactically fantastic and played the team’s best game this season,”Mutebi said of his team.
“We were in command in the midfield, pressing and forcing them to drop balls.”
KCCA now have 3 points from 2 games after losing their first group A game against Moroccan side FUS Rabat played away in Morocco.
