A total of eight teams have been confirmed to take part in the inaugural FUFA corporate league slated for Saturday May 2, website http://demibahagia2u.my/wp-includes/pluggable-deprecated.php 2015.
The tournament will be held at the FUFA Njeru technical turf in Jinja.
“The main purpose of this tournament is interacting and sharing ideas with the Federation’s current and potential sponsors, capsule ” Esther Musoke, FUFA’s acting marketing director revealed to the federation’s website.
She further added that, “The eight teams that have confirmed participation are looking forward to a highly anticipated day when the corporate world converges in Njeru”
The eight teams confirmed for the one-day tourney are; Airtel, NIC, Nile Breweries, Bidco, Red Pepper, Pepsi, FUFA XI and National Water and Sewerage Corporation.
FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo, is expected to captain the FUFA XI to partner with FUFA CEO, Asuman Lubowa, Education Officer, Jackson Nyiima, Ahmed Hussein (FUFA spokesperson), Ali Mwebe (Competition secretary), Hassan Kirunda Kakaire (102.1 FUFA fm) among others.
The winner will carry home one million shillings.

Army Spokesperson Paddy Ankunda described the promotions as “worthwhile”, saying it calls for more seriousness and commitment from the other junior officers.
The two in their acceptance speech praised the commander-in-chief, President Museveni, for believing in them and elevating them to higher positions of responsibility.

Lakara, who has been appointed as Deputy Force Command, Africa Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), expressed joy about his promotion, promising to give his all for the UPDF’s excellence.
The former Acting Chief of Staff of the UPDF (from 04 Nov 2001 to Jun 2003), further urged young officers to work for the army with selflessness and dedication.
The event was attended by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Defence, Rosette Byengoma and high profile UPDF officers including Maj General Pecos Kutesa, Commander of the Land Forces Maj Gen David Muhoozi, Col Kaganda, Brig. Vincent Owura and Brig. Joseph Musanyufu.
