Police in Kampala has pinned down the suspected head of the serial robbers around western Uganda who have been diverting passengers on the way and robbing them.
The assailants were rampant on the Mbarara-Masaka road. Police says these have been diverting vehicles including buses and beating up passengers before fleeing with their money and belongings.
The group is also being linked to the recent murder of the Jussy Coaches’ manager in Mbarara, information pills http://chicken33.com/commande/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-logger.php who was shot dead about a week ago.
Elly Nuwagira the suspected head of this group was arrested along the Mityana Kampala road.
Police in Mbarara says the arrest was a positive result of the liaison between them and colleagues in Kampala.

The electoral body added: “Please remain peaceful after casting your ballots.”
In Kabale, Chimp Corp Godfrey Tugume reports that voting started at 8:00am.
“One person was arrested at Kabale stadium as he tried to smuggle out a ballot paper that was given to him to vote for Member of Parliament for Kabale municipality,” reports Tugume.
According to sources, the man has been identified only as Bwesigye, an agent of independent candidate Prof Augustus Nuwagaba.
Ugandans are today choosing their candidates for the positions of President, MP and Woman MP.
At Kiira Road polling station, Chimp Corp Pat Larubi reports that voting is underway.
At Nsambya Gigonya Zone, ballot boxes are yet to arrive.
