Pension Case; Ex VP Specioza Kazibwe Expected in Court

Former Vice president Dr. Specioza Wandira Kizibwe is one of the witnesses expected to testify in the case where three people are accused of pocketing 80 million shillings of pension money from the Ministry of Public Service.

Dr. Kazibwe appeared yesterday in court as per court summons, about it but she wasn’t able to take the stand since the defense counsel Elias Seguya asked for an adjournment saying he was not ready for the hearing.

He asked for ample time to be able to peruse through the details of the case file.

The suspects in this case include Samuel   Keddi, visit this site a former accounts assistant in the Ministry of Public Service, viagra Sajja Wilberforce the head teacher at Najjera Progressive Nursery and Primary School and Harriet Galenda a teacher at Real Quality Nursery and Primary School Nansana.

Prosecution led by Jackie Kyasimire, contends that the trio, between September 2012 and February 2017 in Kampala conspired and stole 80 million shillings from Ministry of Public Service as salaries and other benefits, by fraudulently fronting Galenda as a personal assistant to the former Vice President Wandira Kazibwe.

City Hall court grade one magistrate His worship Moses Nabende adjourned the hearing of this matter to 20th June 2017.
